This year, the Belgian-Serbian Business Association was invited to join the annual Belgian Luxembourg Chambers of Commerce Abroad (BLCCA) Academy as a “wild card” participant, providing an opportunity for BSBA to get to know the network and connect with fellow chambers from across different markets.
What began as an opportunity to explore the network quickly turned into a much richer experience. Despite operating in different markets, participating chambers shared many of the same challenges, experiences and ambitions. The Academy offered an open and engaging environment for exchanging ideas, learning from one another and exploring ways to support each other — both during the sessions and through the many informal conversations in between.
For BSBA, the experience was a valuable opportunity to discover the people and organisations behind the BLCCA network and to identify ideas and practices that can be brought back and adapted to our own community.
We are grateful to the BLCCA network for inviting us, welcoming us so warmly, and for the excellent organisation of the Academy. BSBA returns from Luxembourg with new contacts, fresh ideas and a strong sense of the opportunities that can grow from closer cooperation within the BLCCA network.
