On May 28, the seminar titled “Labour Market in Serbia – New Trends, Opportunities and Challenges for Employers” was successfully held. The event was co-organized in cooperation with the National Employment Service, Hellenic Business Association of Serbia and the British-Serbian Chamber of Commerce. The event took place at the premises of our member, IN Hotel Belgrade.
The event brought together representatives of member companies for an open and constructive discussion on some of the most critical topics shaping the domestic labor market today, including workforce shortages across various sectors, employment of foreign nationals and legal procedures, activation of the 50+ age group and retired workforce, and stronger cooperation between employers and educational institutions.
Representatives of the National Employment Service shared valuable insights, practical guidance, and concrete support mechanisms available to employers in Serbia.
The strong interest and active dialogue throughout the seminar confirmed the vital importance of continued cooperation between the business community and public institutions.
Following the official working sessions, the constructive dialogue and exchange of ideas continued during an informal networking cocktail.
We look forward to continuing this successful dialogue with the National Employment Service for the benefit of our member companies and developing new joint initiatives in the future.
