The Belgian Serbian Business Association, represented by its President Hugo van Veghel and Executive Director Milica Vranjanac, participated in the second day of dialogue led by the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality, Milan Antonijević, with representatives of chambers of commerce and business associations.
The discussion focused on strengthening cooperation between institutions and the business community in the areas of workplace equality, non-discrimination policies and the implementation of ESG principles in business operations.
Business associations were recognized as key partners in advancing equality in employment, as they bring together a wide network of companies whose awareness and consistent application of these standards are essential for building fair and inclusive working environments.
From the BSBA perspective, participation in this dialogue reflects our continued commitment to constructive institutional engagement and responsible business development. It further strengthens our role as a bridge between Belgian and Serbian business communities, supporting knowledge exchange and the adoption of modern, sustainable business practices.
All participants reaffirmed their commitment to continuing joint initiatives aimed at promoting discrimination-free and healthy working environments, recognizing that such conditions enhance employee satisfaction and motivation while also contributing to stronger and more sustainable business performance.
