“Green Building – Belgian Experience & Challenges” panel discussion, organized by the Belgian-Serbian Business Association, the Trade and Economic Department of the Embassy of Belgium and the Association for the Construction Industry within the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia held on March 21 was a huge success.
The seminar focused on the essence of green construction, drawing from both Belgian and Serbian perspectives on implementing sustainability and energy efficiency measures crucial for urban environments.
After the opening remarks by H. E. Cathy Buggenhout, Sophie Foccroulle from the Belgian Construction Industry Association (Embuild.Brussels) shared profound insights into green building practices across Europe, emphasizing the Brussels region, while Ivana Vuletić from the Association for the Construction Industry provided an overview of Serbia’s construction industry landscape.
