On October 23, 2025, the Belgian-Serbian Business Association (BSBA) marked 15 years since its founding with a memorable evening that brought together members, partners, and friends to celebrate the Association’s journey and achievements.
The evening began with a warm welcome to guests and words of gratitude to members and partners from Milica Vranjanac, executive director. Prof. dr Ana Bovan, BSBA Board Member, and Mirko Golijanin, BSBA Supervisory Board Member and Managing Director of Unifiedpost, one of the evening’s sponsors, then took the floor. Both founding members shared memories, milestones, and reflections from the Association’s journey. President Hugo van Veghel reflected on BSBA’s history, its key initiatives, and the impact the Association has had over the years.
Thomas Maes, Consul of Belgium in Serbia, speaking on behalf of the Belgian Embassy, highlighted the strong ties and cooperation between Belgium and Serbia, emphasizing BSBA’s important role in fostering this partnership across multiple fields.
Following the speeches, plaques were presented to members in recognition of 15 and 10 years of membership and continuous support, as well as to the Belgian Embassy in Serbia and its Economic & Trade Department for their exceptional contribution. President Hugo Van Veghel received the Oscar for Best Performance in a Leadership Role, honoring his long-standing commitment and contribution to the BSBA since its founding.
BSBA also thanked its sponsors, Unifiedpost (Gold Sponsor) and Vedeto Plus (Silver Sponsor), for their support and partnership in making the celebration a memorable occasion.
The evening celebrated achievements while also giving everyone a chance to connect, relax, and enjoy each other’s company, with the aim of providing a truly enjoyable evening and creating memorable moments.
