The Belgian-Serbian Business Association (BSBA) had the pleasure of participating in the “Doing Business in Serbia” seminar, organized by hub.brussels, FIT – Flanders Investment & Trade, and AWEX – Wallonia Export & Investment Agency, which provided an excellent platform for constructive dialogue and an in-depth exchange on the many opportunities the Serbian market offers.
We had the pleasure of presenting the BSBA to the participants, sharing insights into Serbia’s business environment, cooperation opportunities, and key aspects Belgian companies should consider when entering the Serbian market.
The seminar opened with remarks from H.E. Aleksandar Tasić, Ambassador of Serbia to Belgium, who shared his perspective on the growing economic cooperation and opportunities between the two countries.
Participants then had the opportunity to hear insightful presentations on Serbia’s investment climate, key sectors, and current opportunities from Bojan Stanić of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia and Marko Petrović from the CCIS Representative Office in Belgium.
We were especially pleased to see our long-standing members — Proximus Group / Telesign and METECH Ltd — participate in the seminar and share their experiences as strong examples of best business practices of Belgian companies operating in Serbia.
Overall, the seminar provided valuable insights and fostered meaningful connections between Belgian and Serbian business communities. Events like this highlight the growing potential for collaboration and reaffirm the importance of sharing knowledge, experiences, and best practices to support successful business ventures in Serbia.
