During his introductory speech, Milan Stojanov, Advisor for International Economic Relations and Interregional Cooperation at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vojvodina, highlighted that the positive trend in economic cooperation between domestic companies and Belgium prompted us to spotlight untapped potentials and promising sectors within our economy. Srđan Mačkić introduced the Vojvodina European Office in Brussels. Marijana Milošević Tufegdžić, Economic and Trade Advisor at the Economic and Trade Office, Embassy of Belgium, presented the Economic Cooperation between Serbia and Belgium, providing an overview of the current situation, potential for further development, and the Why.brussels program. After the address by BSBA President Hugo Van Veghel, Milica Vranjanac, Executive Director of the Belgian-Serbian Business Association, introduced the BSBA, outlining its objectives, initiatives and activities.

Additionally, the seminar offered an opportunity to learn from the experiences of successful Belgian companies and esteemed BSBA members operating in the Serbian market—Cordeel, Besico Serbia, Reynaers Aluminium, and Confirma BV.

It was a great opportunity to comprehend the challenging Belgian market and extract best practices from these experienced and successful companies.

The event attracted significant interest, and around 30 participants had the chance to network and build connections at a cocktail gathering following the working part.
